Gold Medal Sort of Day

My oldest daughter gave me this gold medal (from Sunday school) this morning because “you’ve been doing such a good job momma!”  As I am a week post-op from having my gallbladder and appendix removed, I took this as a small personal challenge.  I am going to push through the pain and start living my new normal. Today turned out to be a bigger adventure than I expected. After dropping off Lyla at pre-k I took Brynn and Brantley to the doctor. The doctor said they both have sinus infections and Brantley also has an ear infection. So, I decided to make an appointment for Lyla as well because she is sick too.  She ended up having an ear infection also!  So... because of running to pre-k (drop off), to the doctor, back to pre-k (pick up), and back to the doctor, lunch ended up being fast food.  I was not in any mood to tackle 3 kids in a restaurant by myself, so we had a picnic in the back of our SUV and parked by a pond near our house.  We had so much fun with our little get-a-way lunch.  I think it wore them out a little and it defiantly wore momma out!  When we got home we had some fun treats in the mail from mamaw and papaw.  The kids always LOVE getting stuff in the mail.  After coloring our St. Patrick's day coloring sheets we sat down and watched Boss Baby.  Sweet day with my sweet babies!

Welcome

Welcome to my blog!  I used to blog quite a bit while we were going through our battle with infertility.  I am happy to say that I have not been able to blog for awhile because we now have three sweet kiddos who keep me VERY busy.  We now have a 4 year old daughter, a 3 year old son, and a 1 year old baby girl.  The lord has truly blessed us beyond anything we could every imagined.  I am a stay-at-home mommy and love every second of it.  It is not always peaches and cream and all goes smoothly, but that is life and God is good!

I plan to try to post maybe at least once a week about happenings in our lives.  My posts will vary depending on what is going on in our lives.  I am so excited to get back to this because I truly loved documenting our fertility journey and now want to continue documenting our daily life and activities.  Thanks for following along!
